[Side B] Episode 1: Who Made It Awkward?


MC: (...Ils someone following me? Surely not...)

Maica: ...What're you looking around for out here, (name)?

MC: Oh, hello Maica-san. Nothing in particular...

Maica: Hmm, all right. You're going to Starless, right? Let's go.

MC: (It was just my imagination... right...?!)

Kei: Hey, (name).

MC: Eeeeek!

Kei: You are safe. Do not worry. Gui is taking care of it right now.

MC: Taking care of... what?!

*THUD noises*

MC: (What was that sound...?!)

Maica: What's going on?

Kei: Just a bit of insect extermination.

Gui: Kei, I'm done.

Kei: Ah, well done.

Maica: ...I'm going to take a look.

Maica: What the, it's real! (name), what on earth did you do?

Kei: She did not do anything. There was simply an insect attracted to the lovely scent of a flower.

Maica: That's not what I'm asking. Actually, can you stop saying that stuff?

Maica: ...Hey, (name). I don't want to scare you, but it's pretty bad. Seriously.

MC: You are scaring me...!

Maica: I'm not trying to! But you should know the situation.

Kei: I will have Haseyama tighten the security. There is a limit to how negligent one may reasonably be, and allowing misdeeds in the middle of the city does not fall within it.

Maica: If it's safe now, then let's go to Starless.

Kei: I will go after my business is complete. May I entrust her to you, Maica?

Maica: Me? I only know basic self-defense, if you're all right with that.

Kei: That will be more than enough. Gui, you come with me.

Gui: Understood.

Kei: Also, Maica. You should lend an ear to Rindou and Shinju's voices.

Maica: ...Do you mean with regards to the performance?

Kei: Yes, pay attention to them. You are not the only singer. *leaves*

Maica: ...Tch. Even I know that.

Maica: You should tell Kei too, that I'm not slacking.

MC: I'm sure Kei-san knows that.

Maica: ...Hmph. He tells me to match up with them when he's not even there.

Maica: I get it, but it's hard. Rindou's way of pausing is just... different.

Maica: And Shinju just tries to copy him!

MC: I wonder why you guys aren't matching up. It must be difficult.

Maica: I don't know... I guess it must be my fault after all.

MC: I don't think so...

Maica: For the previous shows, it might've just been because I joined partway through and wasn't used to them.

Maica: But... this one is new. Everyone's on the same playing field, but I'm the only one who can't...

MC: Maica-san...
