 [Side A] Episode 3: Someone Who Knows My Past Self

Qu: Are you okay, Rindou?

Rindou: Huh? Why do you ask?

Qu: ...Ah, never mind.

Qu: Anyway, could you switch with Mokuren for today's shift?

Rindou: You want me to switch with Mokuren? Why?

Qu: A mutual friend of ours is visiting today, and I want them to see us in action.

Qu: Mokuren probably won't greet them if you don't put them on the floor.

Qu: We owe that person a lot. They were the manager at our previous shop.

Rindou: Is that where you met Mokuren?

Qu: Hmm, I suppose you could say that. In reality, it's more like I made a false accusation.

Rindou: ...What? You did, not Mokuren?

Qu: Mokuren's so unfriendly, after all. Almost like they were ignoring their job as a drag queen.

Qu: But when I watched them closely...

Rindou: You realized they weren't interested in anything besides dancing...?

Qu: Exactly.

Qu: I don't think they'd be interested in greeting our benefactor either, right?

Rindou: That sounds like them. All right then, I'll switch.

Rindou: ...Wait, but Mokuren had a shift yesterday too. Is this really-

Qu: They're sturdy enough to handle it. What they lack in friendliness, they make up for in endurance.

Qu: You should get some rest anyway. You're looking pale.

Rindou: He saw right through me... I'm still lacking in training.
